Bauer Bytes was our first ever series where our very own Trevor Bauer hosted a few of his friends from around the league for drinks & dinner. The series takes place in Arizona the site of the Cactus League, home to half of the Major League teams. Topics of discussion included: favorite Minor League Baseball story, the future of baseball, how to throw a no-hitter, simulation theories and much more!
Testing 1..2…! Our Mic’d Up series gives players a “hidden” mic to capture the sights and sounds from major league ballparks across the country. Our mic spent time with the Cleveland Indians, New York Yankees, Cincinnati Reds, & New Hampshire Fisher Cats and attended events such as All-Star Weekend and Spring Training. This series includes a combination of incredible insight that any baseball player can add to their game and incredible banter that shows how players stay loose both physically and mentally leading up to a game.
The Arizona Fall League is a place where numerous talented minor league players have the unique chance to play in front of scouts, GM’s, managers from across the league – yet no one really knows about it. We decided to follow six players and their journey during the AFL. These players are Forrest Whitley, Jax Biggers, JJ Matijevic, Jahmai Jones, Cole Uvila and Nick Mears. Although they each feature unique roads to get to the AFL, many of them share similarities in their personal lives, their lives on the diamond, or both.
Our documentaries tell stories of players, innovators, and events that have changed the game of baseball. Thus far we have told the story of how Reds pitcher Trevor Bauer used travel as an escape from baseball, how a college dropout and former professional gambler changed baseball player development, how a pitcher from Australia almost quit baseball one year prior to becoming an all-star. The goal for our documentaries is simple, share the stories of the people bringing positive change to the game that we love.
